Montréal Road wil be closed to all traffic at the Highway 174 interchange next weekend while bridges are dismantled to make way for the future Montréal Station.  The closure begins at 8 p.m. on Friday, 4 December and continues to 5 a.m. on Monday, 7 December. Traffic on Highway 174 in either direction will not be affected during this time.

The Confederation Line project will extend the LRT eastward from Blair Station, along the old bus transitway, to a point behind the new Costco store.  From there, the tracks will be on a raised guideway over the westbound lanes of Highway 174 and onto the widened median of Highway 174.

The LRT extension will continue east on the median with stations at Montréal Road (Montreal), Jeanne d’Arc, Orléans Boulevard (Convent Glen), and Place d’Orléans to a new eastern terminal at Trim Road.
